Key members of the One36 Computing team

Colin McKay, One36 Computing, Edinburgh

Colin McKay has now taken the reigns of One36, after many years under our esteemed captain Sandy, Colin looks to continue where Sandy left off. with the focus being on providing the best advice and support for all our customer’s.

Colin’s is tasked with providing the one to one training for customers on a range of devices as well as technical work along side Bojan.  

When not steering the ship at One36 Colin he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying watching tv shows and movies. He is also very keen on video games, building gaming pc’s has been one of his passions for many years now, both in a professional and personal capacity.

Jennifer Buchanan - One36 Computing, Edinburgh and Glasgow

Jennifer Buchanan is the principal administrator and first point of contact for customers in our office. She is responsible for making sure that all other members of staff know where they are supposed to be, what they are supposed to be doing there and when they are supposed to be doing it.

Jennifer has recently started studying at Edinburgh Colleges for an Accountancy qualification and as a reesult is only in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays each week.  She is a proud Penicuik girl, where she lives with her husband and their cockatiels.

Bojan Grlica - One36 Computing, Glasgow and Edinburgh

Bojan Grlica is our Slovenian engineer who joined us in 2006. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the College of Maribor in Slovenia. He previously worked for RoLAN, a technical company in Slovenia.

Bojan is our main fixer for Windows based systems. If there is a solution to be found for a problem Bojan will find it. His young family occupies most of his non-working time.

Sandy Robertson - One36 Computing, Edinburgh

Sandy Robertson is the joint owner and the founder of the business. He has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and after graduation spent 12 years with Bank of Scotland in various banking roles.

He set up Futurekids, Edinburgh in early 1999, a training company which primarily provided computer tuition to children. In 2004 he decided to broaden the remit of the business and turn it into a technical company offering computer services in addition to the training, at this time the name was changed to One36 Computing Ltd as a name better reflecting our overall services.

Within the business, Sandy has two principal functions; providing training to adults and children and running the business! When not spending time at Comiston Road, Sandy is a keen golfer, with a mysteriously reducing handicap of 7, and an enthusiastic skier.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Luffness New GC and has been appointed as Finance Director on the board of The Sportsman's Charity Ltd.

Helen Robertson - One36 Computing, Glasgow and Edinburgh

Helen Robertson is Sandy's wife and joint owner of One36 Computing. She originally trained as a medical secretary and has had a wide variety of posts over the last twenty years.

She is a qualified IFA and currently provides book-keeping services to a number of businesses in and around Edinburgh, including One36 Computing. Apart from looking after her family, Helen's principal obsession is for tennis, closely followed by playing her Cello with the Colinton Orchestra.
